The front desk staff is patient, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Foster is empathetic, knowledgeable, and kind. My cats and dogs have always been very well taken care of at Castle Peak. I highly recommend them for your fuzzy family members' care!
Denny has always been great with all of our dogs. He takes the time to get down at their level and build some trust before he starts poking and prodding.

I am so very pleased to have found Castle Peak Emergency Veterinarian service!!! Dr. Dana is the best!!!! I live in the Roaring Fork Valley area, and on this side of I-70, there is no emergency clinic consistently open. Dr. Dana returned my numerous phone calls throughout the weekend, in a timely fashion and was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and very supportive and accommodating. Over the weekend, I had numerous conversations with Dr. Dana concerning updates and questions about my beloved pet. She was always kind, concerned, and very courteous. DR. DANA, YOU ROCK !!!!!!!!! I had the pleasure in meeting Dr Remi and WOW is all I can say, she was so professional, but made a point to introduce herself and make me feel at ease. She continued and walked me through every option and test that they did that day. When I was paying my bill that day I knew I found a vet that I could trust my animals with again.
It is a blessing in life that your family member who you love so much is in excellent, excellent care with Castle Peak Vet! They have been a valued member of our lives since the early 90s. My daughter even brings her dogs and kitty down all the way from Leadville. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, but they are compassionate, friendly, practical, caring, genuine, and always available in an emergency. You can also depend on their boarding facilities. From the office gang- to the techs- to the vets- to the owners, it is truly a blessing to work with them through all of the joys and even in all of the sadness. They have always been there!

Words can not describe what I feel about Castle Peak Vet. All these guys and gals are the best in the county. Emergency services, routine checkups... when Dr. Denny crawled around on the floor, frantic phone calls when we needed help, and the dreaded end-of-life experience. Dr. Foster and Kelley came to our home, on a Saturday, at a moment's notice to help us say goodbye the right way. They were professional and compassionate. They cried with us and let us take our time- Nothing was rushed or forced. When I came in to pick up the ashes, I was greeted with a tearful hug. These people have become my family. These people are the kindest, warmest, and most professional I have dealt with. Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My cat boarded here for 10 days. She is 19 and she seemed to do fine. The staff sent pictures and reports on request. The followed my directions for feeding and supplements.
I’ve never boarded her before but because of her age and her anxiety level, being Siamese , I thought it best to have her board her with her vet.
Dr. Simonton is an amazing doctor and a wonderful human being. The staff at Castle Peak is very friendly and welcoming as well.
